A chair was established on 9th March 2019 at Shambhunath Institute of Law, in remembrance of eminent jurist and former Advocate General of Uttar Pradesh, Pandit Kanhaiya Lal Mishra.
Many eminent figures including Justice Girdhar Malviya were present on this occasion.

प्रख्यात जूरिस्ट एवं उत्तर प्रदेश के भूतपूर्व एडवोकेट जनरल पंडित कन्हैया लाल मिश्र की स्मृति में 9 मार्च 2019 को शम्भूनाथ इंस्टीटूट ऑफ लॉ में अध्ययन पीठ की स्थापना हुई ।
